Adam first found CrossFit over a decade ago. It was something fun he could do with his friends and an outlet for his competitive edge. One of those friends is now his wife Julia who he coaches beside at CFTA. As their relationship and family has grown (with the addition of their beautiful, spunky daughter) so has the depth of Adam’s coaching experience and fitness priorities.
Adam has been competitive in CrossFit since 2012, and has been a coach for just as long in CrossFit gym settings, personal training, and high school athletics. Adam enjoys the fitness he gains in the gym, but loves how that overflows into a lifetime of health.

​​Ashley brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our coaching team. As a former college athlete, she is no stranger to hard work and dedication. As one of the first members of CrossFit Thin Air, Ashley quickly became a cornerstone of the 8:15 a.m. class, and now you can also find her coaching it!

Beyond the gym, Ashley has spent many years coaching local high school sports, including track and field, volleyball, and basketball, alongside The Fullers. Her extensive coaching background is matched by her passion for continual growth. Ashley has been committed to honing her coaching skills and is always ready to step up when needed, offering her expertise and support to the gym and community.

Julia is a joyful coach that specializes in taking complex programming and breaking it down to any ability level. She believes in the abilities of all of her athletes. Her passion for improving others lifelong wellness every day is woven into conversations on runs or with a coffee in the living room.
She is a consistent source of joy to others. Her running and swimming career started before she could drive herself to practice and continues to be a training focus. At CrossFit Thin Air she is known as the Queen of Pacing during her workouts and the coach that smiles while telling you what you are doing wrong.​​​​​

Brooke Wilhoit

Brooke jumped into classes at CrossFit Thin Air back in 2023, quickly showcasing her impressive skills in both gymnastics and strength. Brooke loves to be upside down and is not shy of pushing a heavy barbell overhead.

Not long after, Brooke’s curiosity about coaching led her to dive into CrossFit Thin Air’s internship program, where she dedicated countless hours to honing her craft. She has developed a keen eye for movement and mechanics, excelling at breaking down complex techniques and delivering clear, effective guidance to athletes of all levels. Her attention to detail and consistent feedback ensure that every athlete feels supported, whether taking on a tough workout or mastering a new movement.​​
